At FocusMaxing, we take your privacy seriously. You have full control over your data. Choose whether you want to delete your entire account, or simply clear all your personal data while keeping your account active.
What happens: Your account and all personal data (including profile information, chat history, preferences, and usage data) will be permanently deleted from our systems. This action cannot be undone.
Data retained: No personal data is retained.
Retention period: Data is deleted immediately from our active databases. Encrypted backups are automatically cleared within 30 days.
Log in to the web app. Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account.
If you cannot log in, send us an email. We will verify your identity before deletion.
What happens: All your personal data, chat history, and settings are permanently deleted in compliance with GDPR. However, your account link (via Google/Apple/OAuth) remains active so you can easily log in again later.
Data retained: We only retain the minimum identifier required to recognize your OAuth login (e.g., your email address). All other personal app data is wiped.
Retention period: Your data is wiped immediately from active systems upon request. Encrypted backups containing the old data will expire and be destroyed within 30 days.
Log in to the web app. Go to Settings → Account → Clear All Data.
